BrownGreer Names New Partners
BrownGreer PLC is pleased to announce that Bethany Anderson and Matthew Hazzard have been elected as Partners, effective July 1, 2025.
The promotions come at a time when BrownGreer is earning new large-scale work, including service as claims processor for settlement programs related to the 2023 Maui wildfires and more than 10,000 foster care abuse claims in California.
“Bethany and Matthew joined BrownGreer in 2010, and have played essential roles in the work that has helped build our Firm,” Co-Founder Lynn Crowder Greer said. “As we continue to take on projects that bring their own new challenges, we know that their 15 years of experience will help steer these programs to a successful conclusion.”
Anderson currently focuses on healthcare liens resolution and fraud prevention. She has worked on several of the Firm’s largest programs, including the Deepwater Horizon Economic and Property Damage Settlement and the Fire Victim Trust that resulted from the 2018 California wildfires. She earned her J.D. from the University of the District of Columbia in 2010.
Hazzard manages database design and notice development for several current programs. As a co-lead for projects including the Combat Arms Earplugs and Philips Respironics Personal Injury settlements, he works to ensure claims are paid as efficiently as possible. He earned his J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2010.
Anderson and Hazzard bring BrownGreer’s total number of Partners to 14, who work alongside counsel, claims reviewers, communications staff, analysts, and IT professionals from the Firm’s Rocketts Landing headquarters.
