Practical Insight

Julie began her career with BrownGreer in 2004 reviewing medical records on claims in the nationwide class action settlement of the “Fen-Phen” diet drugs litigation. Since then, she has seen and been a part of the industry evolving from paper-based operations requiring teams of workers opening mail and creating and reviewing files to sophisticated database driven digital operations designed by team leaders like Julie and built and maintained by software application developers.

Julie has extensive experience with all aspects of claims administration, giving her valuable insight into the design, construction, and implementation of all types of settlement systems.

“I am always in awe of the things we are able to accomplish together at BrownGreer.”

During her tenure, Julie has managed, directed, and performed work at every level of the claims administration process on numerous programs. She has led review teams sifting through millions of pages of medical records in a multi-billion dollar Vioxx personal injury settlement, managed 19 satellite offices separated by thousands of miles of Gulf Coast highways in the Deepwater Horizon Settlement, and analyzed complex claims based on gunshot, trampling, and PTSD injuries in the $800 million settlement fund created for the victims of the October 1, 2017 mass shooting at the Las Vegas Harvest Music Festival, along with countless roles on settlement programs large and small.
