We establish and maintain settlement program websites that range from simply informational websites with links to essential program materials and frequently asked questions, to dynamic websites that allow Class Members to interact with the settlement program.

Our dedicated and scalable in-house contact center provides a variety of customer service solutions, ranging from self-service call centers to full-scale live agent support in multiple languages. In addition to traditional call center offerings, we provide live agent web chat and email services, as a comprehensive contact center. We anticipate frequently asked questions and other informational needs, write scripts to be used for contact center assistance, and coordinate toll-free number access. We also prepare and implement procedures to receive and record written communications to the claims facility, including coordination and management of a unique P.O. Box address to receive all physical mail related to the program.

Our depth of experience allows us to quickly identify the ideal approach to a complex claim scenario. We apply our extensive knowledge in our analysis of each case and settlement, and can provide assistance in developing compensation frameworks and approaches. We design the processing steps, resource allocation, and systems integration to permit claims to move quickly and be determined fairly and efficiently, while minimizing transaction costs.

We coordinate the full spectrum of claims processing and review tasks, from database design and data input, to processing claims to a final determination. We identify the forms, records, and information necessary for the facility to render a reliable eligibility determination, and we engineer the review process to ensure that claims are processed efficiently and accurately so determine the benefits to which a claimant is entitled.

We design procedures to address inquiries and claims from creditors and others who seek to share in the claimant’s recovery. We provide healthcare resolution services for a variety of lien types including; Medicare, Medicaid, ERISA, Medicare Advantage, FEHBA, TRICARE, VA and private liens. BrownGreer also has a wealth of experience processing third party claims such as attorney fee disputes, child support, IRS liens, judgment liens, garnishments and security interests.

We provide a full spectrum of QSF and Fund Administration services, whether assisting and facilitating with the execution of QSF Administrator duties in instances where the official QSF Administrator role is assigned to the financial institution holding the settlement funds; or by serving in the role as the designated QSF Administer, in instances where those duties are to be handled by a separate party, while working closely with the financial institution. Such duties typically include establishing the tax ID number for the QSF, ensuring that the QSF structure is in compliance with Internal Revenue Code Section 468B and that applicable tax filings are prepared and submitted in a timely and appropriate manner, as well as ensuring that the settlement funds are held and managed in accordance with the parties’ instructions and pursuant to the terms of the applicable settlement agreement.

We efficiently and effectively provide the full breadth of all payment related tasks and responsibilities needed to ensure the successful fulfillment of settlement payment needs. We design procedures to calculate award amounts, print, mail and track status of settlement checks, or in the case of electronic payments, coordinate the seamless exchange of payment instructions and other data to the applicable financial institution, as well as to develop and issue payment notices and other payment reports, to secure reporting portals. Additionally, we can provide any ensuing post-payment oversight and follow-up activities, as needed, such as generation of end-of-year informational tax forms, stale check re-issuance, as well as ongoing monitoring and reconciliation of settlement account balances and close-out reports.

We are highly skilled in litigation management and support, and have served as the Project Management Office and as Special Master for national litigations. We begin tracking information at the start of litigation, or we can come in midstream to gather the data and organize the process. We can assist the parties and the Court with centralizing information and data, scheduling and keeping track of discovery. Our anti-fraud framework utilizes a three-pronged approach to preventing, detecting, and responding to fraudulent claim activity. We apply a holistic approach to identifying and measuring risk factors, and through rigorous data collection and analysis we identify trends in claim filings and outcomes that guide our detection and response strategies. BrownGreer has been awarded the Coin of Excellence from the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Louisiana for our work to implement processes for fraud detection analytics, review, and referral of fraudulent claims to law enforcement.
