BrownGreer Co-Founder Lynn Crowder Greer has been named to the Virginia Business ‘Women in Leadership’ list in the magazine’s annual effort to honor women who have achieved the highest ranks within their respective industries.
"This year’s winners have made time for mentoring other women along the way, making sure that the doors they’ve walked through remain open to future generations," the magazine said in a statement.
Greer was highlighted among 42 women across Virginia who have overcome adversity and built successful careers in several male-dominated industries. After co-founding BrownGreer in 2002, Greer has overseen settlement administration work as large as the Deepwater Horizon spill in the Gulf of Mexico and as sensitive as the Independent Reconciliation Program for abuse victims within the Catholic Diocese of Richmond.
In an accompanying profile, Greer tells Virginia Business that the thread uniting the Firm’s dedication to clients, claimants, and its employees is an emphasis on communication.
"Often people think that communication is just about talking," Greer says, “but listening has been my biggest contribution.”
BrownGreer's team of attorneys, analysts, programmers, and reviewers leads the industry in claims administration, settlement administration, and data management solutions. A settlement administrator distinguished by its talent, innovation, and cutting edge technologies, BrownGreer designs and implements complex mass claims processes that can involve millions of claimants and billions of dollars in settlement funds.
