Andrew oversees various aspects of claims administration and is involved in the management of claims resolution programs that range in scope and subject matter. A licensed attorney and certified Project Management Professional, Andrew designs and manages the implementation of claims resolution processes that facilitate the evaluation of complex claims for lost income in economic loss settlements. He also directs the administration of financial and consumer protection settlements that involve the issuance of notices and payments, as well as the development of dynamic reports to provide clients and regulators with real-time data. Following the initial development phase of a settlement program, Andrew leads teams that maintain and enhance these custom database applications, working to optimize the speed and efficiency of claims processing within the unique framework specific settlement agreements.

A significant portion of Andrew’s current practice is devoted to serving the Claims Administrator of the $10.8 billon Deepwater Horizon Economic and Property Damage Settlement program arising from In re Oil Spill by the Oil Rig “Deepwater Horizon” in the Gulf of Mexico, on April 20, 2010, MDL Docket No. 2179. In that capacity, he directs teams of attorneys, project managers and software developers to design and implement creative solutions in processing economic loss claims submitted by businesses in the Gulf Coast region. In the past, Andrew has led the administration of financial and consumer settlements, including those related to violations of the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act as well as telephone privacy statutes. He also played key roles managing teams supporting the Claims Administrator in the $7.8 billion Gulf Coast Claims Facility. Andrew began his career at BrownGreer assisting with the administration of the $4 billion diet drug settlement, In re Diet Drugs (Phentermine/Fenfluramine/Dexfenfluramine) Products Liability Litigation, MDL Docket No. 1203.

In law school, Andrew served as Executive Editor of the Journal of Law and Commerce. He has been named among the Virginia Super Lawyers list of Rising Stars.
