Jon joined BrownGreer in 2010 and was named Counsel in 2011. Jon has experience working on multiple types of settlement programs, including large-scale mass torts, pharmaceutical products, and wage and hour issues. Jon is involved in various aspects of the claims review process, including interpreting complex settlement agreement provisions, drafting and implementing evaluation criteria and guidelines, drafting business rules for the development of online claims resolution portals, training and managing claims reviewers, and overseeing quality assurance processes to ensure the accurate and efficient resolution of claims. In addition, he serves as a primary contact for class counsel and accounting firms, and he performs various tasks related to the resolution of appealed claims.
Before joining the firm, Jon earned his J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Barristers and the Trial Advocacy Board. While in law school, he was a Legal Intern at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) where he conducted research and provided support for trial attorneys on various cases involving enforcement of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, including race, color, religion, gender, and national origin discrimination cases.
