Jennifer advises the firm in structuring the enterprise business processes and information to align with strategic goals and objectives. She works with both attorneys and developers to develop an integrated view of the enterprise using industry standard techniques. Jennifer leverages her experience in software design, development and analysis along with Project Management and Business Analysis certifications to serve as a liaison between business units at the firm. As a Business Architect, Jennifer also focuses on process improvement and systems quality assurance.
Jennifer began her career in IT as an intern at NASA Headquarters where she studied chaos theory and satellite orbits. She went on to hold positions in healthcare analytics, defense industry and e-commerce. Jennifer has extensive experience with various software development and database programs, including .Net, SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle, and SAS.
At BrownGreer, Jennifer led a team of developers working on $5 billion national class action settlement of the “Fen-Phen” diet drug litigation. She served as the core developer on the $2.75 billion Seventh Amendment Settlement project involving tracking of claimant eligibility, participation, financial elections, payments and resolution. As a Project Manager, she was responsible for planning, executing and finalizing projects according to deadlines. In this role, Jennifer planned, organized, prioritized and managed multiple work efforts across application teams. Additionally, she was responsible for developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and devising contingency plans when necessary.
In 2008, Jennifer earned her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. The PMP is a globally recognized industry certification that recognizes demonstrated competence in leading and directing project teams. In 2014, Jennifer earned her Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification. The CBAP certification is designed for senior business analysts and recognizes experts in identifying the business needs of an organization to develop solutions and acts as a liaison between clients, stakeholders and solution teams. Both the PMP and CBAP certifications require continuing professional development in order to maintain certification.
Jennifer received her B.S. from University of Mary Washington in 1994 and joined BrownGreer in 2003. She became a Project Manager in 2010, Senior Project Manager in 2012 and Business Architect in 2013.
