Under the terms of the Vioxx Settlement Program, any Vioxx-related federal or state statutory lien reimbursement obligations must be resolved in order for any settlement monies to be released. Section VII of the Notice of Points Awards issued to claimants provides the state and federal liens that must be resolved (if any) and the amount of the claimant's reimbursement obligation that will be withheld from the settlement payments.
