Grey graduated from Mississippi College School of Law in 2009. While in law school and in conjunction with the Mississippi Supreme Court, he helped to build a public online database of decisions from the Mississippi Supreme Court and the Mississippi Court of Appeals. The database covers all decisions handed down by both courts since January 2000, and is used primarily to analyze the voting patterns of the judges in those courts. The database can be searched using a variety of criteria and is the first database of its kind in Mississippi.

After law school, Grey served as the Field Manager on a campaign for the VA House of Delegates in Hampton, VA. He managed a large volunteer organization working on various tasks towards a common goal. Grey serves on the Young Alumni Committee for Hampden-Sydney College and the Alumni Committee for Hampton Roads Academy.

Upon joining the firm, Grey was quickly acquainted with the claims review process. He helps in the development of policies and procedures to improve the process, as well as troubleshooting complicated claims for reviewers. He also focuses on the creation and evaluation of eligibility criteria.

Grey joined BrownGreer in September 2010.
