Diann Bates is a Senior Analyst with BrownGreer. Her responsibilities include analyzing complex client issues, coordinating the work of other Analysts and Claims Specialists, supporting firm attorneys, communicating with outside counsel, and general Group Administration. Previously, Diann worked for eight years as a Senior Legal Assistant at the Dalkon Shield Claimants Trust, where she specialized in factual research and supervised other legal assistants. She also worked as Assistant Editor at the Virginia Division of Legislative Services, where she proofread and edited legislative bills and amendments, committee reports and legislative summaries related to the work of the Virginia General Assembly. All of her work has required attention to detail, organizational skills, direct and indirect customer service skills, and excellent oral and written communication. Diann has a B. S. degree in Early Childhood Education from James Madison University, but has completed other coursework and professional seminars. | |
